Our executive team: Daren Schwengler - President and founder has over 13 years of experience in the foodservice industry. He started as a service coordinator working towards a service manager role supporting key accounts across Canada by building a national service network of service companies. After a one year contract in the United States to build a national service network for a manufacturer, Daren returned to Calgary into a national sales position. The new position enabled Daren to grow revenue in both equipment sales and in part/service, exceeding all targets. Today, he enjoys running and selling for SBS with a new approach of ultimate service, immediate response, and unparalleled concern for the end user's success.
Alma Castro, General Manager and co-founder, brings to SBS her business knowledge to ensure SBS will be around for a long time. She brings experience from small and large business to SBS. Alma's professionalism ensures the SBS sales team is continuously being trained and that all clients are being followed up on.
Robert "Buddy" Bell, VP Sales and Service, has been in the service industry for over 20 years. With experience in business development and service, Buddy brings a multi-faceted approach to working with our clients. With in-depth knowledge of our equipment, Buddy is able to assist service companies with service questions as well as end users. Buddy is the latest addition to the SBS executive team, raising the bar in service and response times.
